If a picture is worth a thousand words ... the one to the right is worth millions! 

 

One of the goals of NatureFest was to put NEW paddlers on the river.. and our Newbie's program was a great success.  We estimate that more than 75 youth and their parents got on the river for the first time taking a short float from Bob Brayant Park down to Fisherman's Park. 

 

As you can tell by the smile on his face ... his heart was racing with excitement ... and Mom was thrilled too.  You can bet they will be back!
