Launch Your Own Kayak or Canoe
Bob Bryant Park
Bringing your own canoe or kayak?
We recommend that you launch at Bryant Park and float the short 15-20 minutes
to NatureFest at Fisherman’s Park.
Pull out and enjoy the event then float the rest of the El Camino Real Trail.
Take the shuttle back to Fisherman's Park then take CARTS shuttle to Bryant Park to get your vehicle.  Your boat will be held for you at the Tahitian take-out point.

Launching at Fisherman’s Park will be limited due to pedestrian traffic in the park.

More than 300 first time kayakers got acquainted with kayaking and the river under the leadership of Campfire USA and 4-H CAPITAL instructors.
After an introduction to paddling and river safety,
kids and parents experienced the thrills of the river at the gravel bar in Fisherman's Park.

Fishing Clinic
Free

TPW fishing clinic teaching boys and girls the
art of casting, knot-tying, bait selection, and habitat.
Prizes were given throughout the day.
Equipment provided for clinic.

Learning the skills of archery under the guidance
of TPW volunteers

Take a nature walk with
