Mr. Box has a Masters Degree in Environmental Science and Ecology and a Bachelors Degree in Zoology. He has worked for eighteen years in the field of environmental toxicology and regulatory affairs and sixteen years in sales and marketing for the food industry. He has national and international experience managing multi-disciplinary projects as team leader and team member. His
business experience, and environmental education and experience, along with his leadership skills are suitable to his position as Executive Director where problem solving, planning, and program implementation with a diverse body of stakeholders is involved. Mr. Box is on the board of directors of the following organizations:
Ms Phillips has a Bachelors Degree in Architectural Engineering with emphasis in construction, coursework in Environmental Design (Architecture), and is completing coursework to be certified as a Long Term Healthcare Administrator. She has sixteen (16) years of construction and construction management experience, three (3) years as a caregiver in a long term care facility, and one (1) year as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She has managed a variety of contractors, projects, and employees, developing and implementing new procedures and has experience with scheduling, inspecting, contract compliance, specifications and drawings, bid evaluation, coordination, and performing construction duties in the field. As a caregiver/nursing assistant, she has experience with direct care of elderly patients. She is currently developing a 21st century continuing care retirement community on the Colorado River in the midst of a recreation park setting which provides opportunity for residents and visitors to enjoy the health benefits provided of the natural areas along the river and stream. Denise Rodgers

Ms. Rodgers has a Masters of Divinity and advanced studies in psychology, metaphysics, hypnotherapy, mind/body medicine, and liberal studies. She has eight academic publications and many articles and presentations on alternative and complementary medicine. After ten years organizing and directing research and teaching mind/body, spirit healing programs she completed her Masters thesis” Beyond Hospice”, a therapeutic approach for social workers, nurses, and hospice workers to enhance the work with the dying. She now offers Mind, Body, & Spirit Self-Empowerment Wellness Program through her own charitable nonprofit. Ms. Rodgers studies of mind, body and spiritual healing have lead her to conclude that the natural environment is an essential aspect of health and healing that is lacking in much of society today. As a Director and Officer she contributes to our purpose to develop nature opportunities for residents and visitors thereby providing the healing properties of nature to communities in our region. With a passion for the outdoors, she initiated the paddling trails designation program and was a co-coordinator of NatureFest 2007. Michael Wunderlin

Mr. Wunderlin has a Masters Degree in Economics and a Bachelors Degree in Automotive Bodymaking. Mr. Wunderlin is owner of Wunderlin Classic Body and Paint and was CEO of MAB, an international company providing purification equipment for industrial and municipal wastewater treatment systems. While with MAB he spearheaded an effort to provide water treatment systems to rural areas of Mexico. Having grown up in Europe with a passion for fishing and camping, he has seen first hand the impact of population and industrial pressures on European rivers such as the Rhine, Mine and Mosel. Having fished and camped on rivers in Germany, Austria, Italy, New Zealand, Nigeria, the Puerto Montt area of Chili and US rivers in Montana, Wyoming and Texas, Mr. Wunderlin has an appreciation for the ecological, cultural, and health value of river systems. With more than 20 years in the US, Mr. Wunderlin brings his international corporate experience and global awareness of environmental issues to the banks of the Colorado River. He is a strong believer in education and outreach to the communities along the river as a means of protecting the resource for current and future generations.
